Recycling Project

Every semester students join our Recycling Project at Pattison High School. During the 2014 Summer Semester, students gather after class on Fridays to sort, rinse, and count bottles, cans, and juice bottles, so they are ready to take to the Recycling Depot.

Students participating in this project not only contribute to the environment, but also accumulate volunteering hours that can be used towards their Graduation Transitions program, required in the BC high School Graduation program.

Last year, Pattison High School ranked 10 on the Return-It School Contest (High School), with 667 containers collected.
