June 2014 Newsletter – Introduction
Spring is here! The weather in Vancouver is getting warmer and warmer every day. Surprisingly, we have not had much rain, and temperatures are in the range of 15C to 22C. Our Summer Semester started on April 28th and students have been working really hard. In fact, they are currently writing their mid-term exams.
Pattison is also getting ready for Summer School. This year, our program will run from July 2nd to August 8th. Students can apply for one or two courses during the summer. Courses are offered in the morning and in the afternoon. So far we have groups confirmed for the following courses: English 10, English 11 and English 12. Registration is open, as we still have a few seats available. Contact us to learn more about the available course options.
We would also like to let you know that Pattison School has been recognized as Vancouver‘s Top Private School for the “2014 Top Choice Award Survey.” We are proud of this recognition as it reflects the quality of our services. We thank all our teachers, students, partners and staff members for the hard work and the continuous support.
This Newsletter brings information about what is new at Pattison School. We would like to call your attention to an article about an interesting topic: Summer School. The article was created with the collaboration of our Student Counsellor, Ms. Mary Eby, and will help parents decide whether Summer School is a good choice for students.
