Mr. Tuev moved to Vancouver from Russia fifteen years ago. He earned a Bachelor of Science, with a major in physics, from Simon Fraser University. He then spent four years teaching physics and math at various institutions in Vancouver.
Mr. Tuev is also passionate about chess and used to be a ranked chess player. He has been working as a chess coach for more than two years. Mr. Tuev also enjoys playing sports, especially soccer.
