When I first came to Pattison High School it was in the middle of the semester. I had just moved to Canada and no school would accept me because I was almost 18 and that would put me in the adult program. Pattison was like a friendly and multi-cultural community and all the staff and teachers were really welcoming and close to the students. I even met people here that are now some of my best friends. The school also helped me a lot with my courses and my credit transfers, considering I didn’t know much about education in B.C.
