Mr. Ng has been in the field of education for over thirteen years now, having worked as a tutor, educational assistant and finally, as the equivalent of a high school teacher in Hong Kong before moving to Vancouver. He obtained his second Master of Arts degree in International Education just two years after his first in English Studies. In his classes, he values the critical examination of ideas and enjoys engaging students through a variety of discussions and thought experiments, hoping to encourage open-mindedness, empathy and creativity along the way.
Having just returned to Canada after twenty-three years of being away, he spends his time as an introvert often may, reading poetry, fantasy novels and playing board and tabletop games with friends, though he does enjoy social dancing, from time to time.
