Ms. Hoffmann is originally from Toronto where she earned a Masters of Science degree in Molecular and Medical Genetics from the University of Toronto. After her graduation, she worked in the Pharmaceutical Industry until she moved to Vancouver in 2010. Because of her passion for learning, she decided to combine the geographical move with obtaining her Bachelors of Education from the University of British Columbia. This brought her to exactly where she wanted to be: In the classroom, hoping to spark enthusiasm for learning, particularly in the sciences.
Ms. Hoffmann is passionate about swimming, dabbles in knitting and crocheting, and loves to take long hikes with her husband, two kids and friends. She also likes to read and watch works of science fiction, so don’t be afraid to stop by her class to discuss your favourite works or give her some tips on what to read next.
